’Tis the season for ski shopping, so your friendly Canadian ski media source is back with the results from our sixth annual ski test, which once again took place at Red Mountain Resort in Rossland, British Columbia. If you’ve clicked on this page in the past, then you know the drill. In an effort to make our test as authentic, impartial and legitimate as possible, we assembled a team of everyday skiers who work everyday jobs (along with a handful of Red’s employees, because who better to test skis than people who go skiing on a daily basis?) and gave them roughly six whole weeks—from the middle of February until early April—to put 36 pairs of skis from 12 of our brand partners through the ringer in as many types of terrain and snow conditions as possible. Then, once the ski season came to its begrudgingly annual end, we asked our testers which skis they liked best, and had them provide reviews on them in both written and video form, which you can watch and read by clicking on the thumbnails below.
