The event, which as always, showcased the best of the best in halfpipe, slopestyle and big air, and failed to disappoint, features some of the world’s top skiers and snowboarders strutting their stuff in a quest for X Games glory, along with a preview of what’s to come during next month’s Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea.

The festivities kicked off with a bang on Thursday night, where’s Men’s and Women’s Superpipe took place under the lights at Buttermilk Mountain. Up first were the ladies, in which Maddie Bowman brought home her fifth X Games gold medal, while Brita Sigourney scored second and Canada’s very own Cassie Sharpe took third.
