FORECAST ISSUE 8.3 PREVIEW
Now that the lifts are spinning and ski season is officially underway, it’s time for a look at the third and final issue of Volume 8 of Forecast.
If the name Cole Richardson doesn’t ring a bell, you might want to cover your ears once it does. Originally from Canmore, Alberta, but currently based in Nelson, British Columbia, the 20-year-old innovator is about to become a household name in ski chalets thanks to his head-turning, breakout segments in two of the biggest ski movies of the year: Blank Collective Films’ Tales From Cascadia and Matchstick Productions’ The Stomping Grounds.
So to celebrate Richardson’s sender reveal party, we’ve teamed up with his ski sponsor and one of our favourite brands, Head, for one of the more lucrative contests we’ve ever done. Up for grabs: the chance to win a full setup worth over $1,400, which includes a pair of Head KORE 111 skis, Tyrolia Attack 14 GW bindings, Contex Pro 5K goggles and a Compact Pro helmet.
To top it off, entering for your chance to win this impressive pile of gear couldn’t be any easier. All you need to do is post your best ski clip from last winter to Instagram, then follow and tag @skier_cole, @head_freskiing and @forecastski in the caption, along with the hashtags #tothecole and #tothekore. Whether it’s a clip of you skiing pow, pillows, cliffs, trees, jumps, bumps or groomers, or a gnarly crash, it’s eligible, but you must live in Canada to win. Richardson will review the clips himself to pick his favourite one, and then the good people at Head will ship you a package with nearly everything you’ll need for the slopes. On behalf of all of us, good luck!
