THE POWELL MOVEMENT - KENT KREITLER: PART 1

Kent Kreitler is a living legend. He’ll be remembered as the skier who helped bring tricks to the backcountry, but he was so much more than just that. He was part of an elite crew of skiers that pioneered big mountain skiing in Alaska… a generation that lived fast and took chances. Which is why Mike Powell tracked him down for a two-part episode of his podcast, The Powell Movement.

In part one, Kreitler talks about moving to Idaho from the New Jersey at the age of 10, skiing in South America, winning the US Extreme Skiing Championships, Shane McConkey, Doug Coombs, and much more.

Stay tuned for part two, and to listen to past, present and future episodes of The Powell Movement, visit thepowellmovement.com, or subscribe to it on Apple Podcasts by clicking here.
