THE NORTH FACE WHISTLER BLACKCOMB WINTER KICKOFF RECAP

Over the past couple of days, and for the fifth year, the Whistler Blackcomb Winter Kickoff hosted by The North Face went down, with online contests, virtual movie premieres, and the crown jewel of the weekend, the ultimate winter camping experience atop Whistler Mountain.

The campout took place on Saturday night amidst a pounding early-season storm that blanketed Whistler Blackcomb with nearly 60 centimetres of new snow over the course of the weekend, and saw two lucky contest winners join a strong contingent of The North Face team (including Ian McIntosh, Nick McNutt, The Blondes, Alex Armstrong, Leanne Pelosi and more) to be whisked away to the near-top of the mountain, where they camped overnight in tents provided by The North Face to score first and fresh tracks in the morning before the public was able to upload.
