LOW PRESSURE PODCAST - HUNTER HESS

On the latest episode of the Low Pressure Podcast, the host with the most Mark Warner checks in with Hunter Hess.

Hess is an accomplished member of the US Freeski Team, and an all-around positive ambassador for the sport. But the Bend, Oregon native is perhaps best known for being the man behind the recently released and award-winning short film, Magma II. Filmed as the follow-up to last year’s critically acclaimed Magma, it showcases Hess and his partner-in-crime, fellow US Freeski Team member and X Games gold medalist Alex Hall, getting their springtime shred on and authoritatively stomping tricks in the backcountry that are not normally thrown down outside of terrain parks. In this episode, Hess discusses the film, along with his thoughts on how to bring the sport to different demographics, learning to ski in a hula-hoop, peeing his snowpants as a kid, and the inspiration he gets he gets from Hall.
