Drop in on the first episode of our latest video series in conjunction with Toyota Canada, Familiar Frontier, which follows world-class freestyle skier Noah Morrison as he embarks on the short journey from his hometown of Vernon, British Columbia to the outdoor mecca next door that is Revelstoke, where he meets up with one of the most accomplished big mountain skiers on the planet: Chris Rubens. While there, Rubens opens Morrison’s eyes to skiing in bigger terrain by showing him around his longtime stomping grounds—Revelstoke Mountain Resort and its surrounding backcountry—along with delving into the history of the area, what prompted him to call it home, and why Revelstoke has become one of Canada’s most desirable ski destinations.
