World Ski & Snowboard Festival Announces 2025 Dates

The World Ski and Snowboard Festival (WSSF) is set to make its much-anticipated return to Whistler, B.C. from April 7th to 13th, 2025. This weeklong celebration of winter sports and mountain culture promises an unforgettable end to the season.

“We’re excited to continue expanding the festival as we approach our third in-person event since COVID-19,” says Brittia Thompson, Festival Director. “In 2023, we successfully revived the festival with fan-favourite sports and multimedia events. Last year we added the Cut Rail Jam and live music at the base of Whistler and Blackcomb, and for this upcoming festival we aim to build on that momentum.”

For the 2025 festival, the Gibbons Whistler team aims to elevate its cultural offerings by adding an extra night of film programming and securing a larger venue for multimedia events. They are in talks with Whistler Blackcomb and other partners to introduce new skiing and snowboarding activities and to extend the live music schedule. WSSF also seeks to collaborate with local Whistler businesses to develop additional programming throughout the festival week. Additionally, the village square expo will return, providing mountain culture brands with an opportunity to showcase their products to enthusiasts.

Gibbons Whistler is seeking both in-kind and monetary partners to support this iconic festival, a cornerstone of Whistler’s mountain culture. Interested brands are encouraged to contact info@wssf.com. For more information and updates, visit wssf.com, and be sure to follow WSSF on Facebook and Instagram.
