Now that was a show. After winning Dew Tour earlier in the season, Estonian Kelly Sildaru continues her gold-medal streak during her first season on the major contest circuit. Despite being just 13 years old, Sildaru's rise to the top has been a long time in the making, and it's safe to say that her moment in the spotlight has finally arrived.
Out of the gate, Sildaru laced up a 93.00 on her first run that included a switch left 900, into a right cork 720 and a left 900 on the final jump. In her signature style, each trick was grabbed with authority. After putting down the run Sildaru would go on to be her biggest critic, saying she could have held her grabs longer. In run two, Sildaru managed to one-up herself on the final jump with a 1080, but bobbles earlier in the course prevented her score from improving. Ultimately her first run would hold the top spot through the duration of the contest. Sildaru was followed on the podium by Norwegians Tiril Sjåstad Christiansen and Johanne Killi.
Lone Canadian Dara Howell placed fifth with a run showcasing her flatspin 540.
