The Grind Comes To Whistler
Get ready for the thrill of a lifetime as Whistler hosts The Grind, one of the most exciting and high-energy events in the world of extreme snow sports. From April 10th to 12th, The Grind will take centre stage during the World Ski and Snowboard Festival (WSSF), bringing the world’s top street style snowboarders and skiers to showcase their jaw-dropping skills in an unforgettable après party atmosphere.

WHAT IS THE GRIND?
The Grind is the premier street style snowboarding series, now introducing a ski version for the first time at the Whistler stop. Street style snowboarding takes traditional park jibbing to urban-inspired setups, featuring steeper, narrower rails and higher stakes. Riders are encouraged to get creative, tackling everything from stairs to massive drops, earning points for taking the riskiest lines. Only the most skilled, fearless athletes need apply, as this event rewards the biggest and boldest moves.
With a total of $50,000 in cash prizes up for grabs, The Grind at Whistler is set to be one of the most challenging and thrilling events the riders have ever competed in. The course is being designed and built in collaboration with Arena Snowparks, The Grind, and Whistler Blackcomb Parks.
