Salomon’s QST Film Tour Returns
Fall is in the air, which means that ski movie premiere season is right around the corner, and our friends at Salomon are once again embracing that time-honoured tradition with the return of its Quality Ski Time Film Tour.
Between now and the end of November, one of the most beloved brands in skiing will be bringing the tour to cities and towns across the globe, with three stops in Canada (Montreal on September 26th, Calgary on October 2nd, and Vancouver on October 9th), nine locations in the U.S., nine premieres across Europe, and three shows in Asia. Blank Collective Films - Cold Calls
Cold Calls is a ski film pieced together through conversations, memories, and whatever the season decided to offer. from storm cycles in Whistler to deep days in Japan, big terrain in Norway, and rare sun in Alaska, each call brought a different story—some hilarious, some heavy, most somewhere in between. what came out wasn’t exactly planned, but it felt right.

Blank Collective Films - One Step Ahead
One Step Ahead follows Norwegian skier Bernt Marius as he gets back to doing what he loves: skiing big lines in the Sunnmøre Alps after losing his leg in an accident. The film captures the ups and downs of relearning the sport and working through the mental side of recovery. It’s a raw, honest look at what it takes to keep moving forward when everything changes.

Cody Townsend & Nikolai Schrimer - The Edge of Reason
Two veteran professional skiers, hardened and seasoned by tragedy in the mountains seek a rekindling of their aggressive approach to steep terrain by venturing to Norway’s Lyngen Alps with a fearless young phenom--only to find that the mountains have much more to teach them all about risk, reckoning and the thin line between glory and grief.

Andrzej Bargiel - Into the Wild South
Into the Wild South is a 20-minute documentary following Andrzej Bargiel’s first exploratory ski expedition to South America. Together with his ski partner, Jędrek Baranowski, he takes on the bold challenge of skiing some of the most technically demanding routes in the Central Andes and the wild landscapes of Patagonia. The film immerses viewers in the world of high-altitude ski mountaineering, focusing on the technical side of skiing At its core, the film is also about partnership and exploration—trust, focus, and shared ambition that drive Andrzej and Jędrek through one of the wildest and most remote mountain regions on Earth.

Nothing brings snow-starved skiers together quite like a ski movie premiere, where you can meet old friends and new, rub shoulders with some of the sport’s top athletes, and collectively share in the anticipatory stoke of the season to come, so be sure to take advantage of these fun-filled events.
