Peak Performance Announces Global Film Tour

Forty years ago in Åre, Sweden, Peak Performance began with a simple idea: that skiers deserved gear that performed technically on the mountain while also reflecting how they wanted to live and look. Now, the Swedish mountain brand is kicking off its 40th anniversary season with a long-standing ski tradition, bringing friends together in a dark theatre to watch the year's best ski films and build stoke for the winter ahead.

The Peak Performance Film Tour will travel to thirteen stops across two continents, opening October 8th at Vancouver's Hollywood Theatre before heading to 12 cities throughout Europe. More than a movie screening, each stop will function as a gathering point for local ski communities and a chance for them to connect before the snow starts to fall. 

The Vancouver premiere features a dedicated North American lineup, with films from the irreverent CHEF ski crew, the FLINTA-led Bucket Clips crew, and Canadian/Japanese freeskier Yu Sasaki. Athletes and filmmakers will introduce their projects live, and the night will close out with giveaways and an afterparty.

In Europe, the program showcases films from Peak Performance athletes Max Palm, Hedvig Wessel, Yu Sasaki, Tao Kreibich and Paddy Graham, with stops in Stockholm, Berlin, Munich, Copenhagen, the Lake District, Oslo, Trondheim, London, Innsbruck, Chamonix, Åre and Vielha.

Tickets are complimentary, but capacity is limited and reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
