Peak Performance London Rail Jam Recap

This past weekend, Peak Performance, the Scandinavian mountain brand, stamped its mark on London by dropping into the capital of the United Kingdom with a brand new store—its first in the UK—and a one-of-a-kind snow-filled rail jam on Shaftesbury Capital's Covent Garden Piazza.

The event brought members of the UK winter sports community from around the country together with Peak Performance’s international team of elite riders and gave customers and passers-by a full day of freestyle ski demonstrations.

Hosted by Tim Warwood, the BBC’s go-to commentator for all things action sports, members of the public also took part in one-to-one masterclass sessions with the pro riders, learning what it takes to ride rails and perform tricks on snow.

Finishing the day-long event was a high-octane game of P.O.W.D.E.R to crown the Covent Garden Jam Champion. Once the jam had wrapped, and in keeping with mountain tradition, the après began, with the Peak Performance store at 49 Long Acre transformed into an afterparty and DJ set.
