Oakley maximizes the snow experience with performance driven activations

WHISTLER, B.C, FEBRUARY 5th, 2016: Running from February 17th through February 21st, Oakley will host Oakley Week at Canada’s premier mountain resort, Whistler Blackcomb—offering a maximized on and off hill experience with custom activations grounded in performance.

As part of Oakley’s three-year partnership with Whistler Blackcomb, Oakley Week will include multiple brand touch points, including snow camps, ride with a pro, social media contests, on-site demos, in-store promotions and more. For the first time ever, Oakley and Whistler Blackcomb will partner with Showcase Women’s Snowboard Camp, an all women snowboarding camp, offering multiple clinics and seminars by the Whistler Blackcomb coaching staff.

Various Oakley products including the famed Prizm lens, a revolutionary lens technology that dramatically enhances contrast and visibility, will be available at the resort’s retail shops in the village for demo and purchase during Oakley Week. The Oakley Prizm collection of hi-contrast lenses tailored to specific environments boosts visibility of snow contours, bumps and textures so riders can head down the hill with confidence.
