Our friends at Oakley are proud to present “The Graduate”, a new video featuring Sean Pettit, Seth Klein and Martin Lentz enjoying the early season pow that pounded Whistler in December.
Seth Klein (who recently graduated from high school and has always wanted to slay the #1 ski resort in North America) linked up with his former classmate Martin Lentz, and thanks to being on the Oakley program (“Oakley was always the childhood dream sponsor,” says Klein), had the opportunity to make his graduation wish come true, with the best tour guide you could ask for in Whistler, Sean Pettit.
“Skiing with Sean was great!” says Klein. “He and his friends were very welcoming to Martin and I, which made for a very fun and laid back experience.”
“It was super fun showing Seth and Martin the ropes and what Whistler is all about, both on the hill and off of it,” says Pettit. “They’re two young up-and-coming dudes who were hyped to be there and keen to get after it, and it was inspiring for me to ski with the next generation of shredders, and to see that their skills are up to par.”
In addition to being shown around the resort, Klein and Lentz got the chance to hop in a heli with Pettit, to experience what the Whistler backcountry has to offer.
“My favourite part of the trip was definitely getting picked up at the top of Peak 2 Peak by the heli, as it was my first time flying,” says Klein.
“Getting in the heli on an early season pow day was awesome,” says Pettit. “It got everyone jazzed up for the rest of the season, so we were slapping high fives and having fun together the whole time.”
