For the latest episode of the Low Pressure Podcast, Mark Warner recently sat down with a rising star in the world of skiing, Jonathan “JR” Rollins.

Originally from Rossland, B.C., Rollins was nominated for Breakout Skier of the Year at last month’s iF3 Festival, and during this episode, he discusses his upbringing in the sleepy mountain town and skiing at Red Mountain Resort, finding a mentor in local legend Dane Tudor, setting goals, shooting with Blank Collective Films and Jeff Thomas, getting put through “style boot camp” while working as a digger at Momentum Camps in Whistler, B.C., and why he loves nothing more than being able to ski as often as possible.
