Assaly was part of the first wave of women in the sport—which included Sarah Burke, Kristi Leskinen and many others—who would pave the way to provide more opportunities, higher visibility and better pay for female freeskiers, and now coaches the next generation of skiers while helping a host of current professional athletes stay in shape through her Freestyle Fit personal training programs.
