LOW PRESSURE PODCAST - ALEX "ARMY" ARMSTRONG

For the latest episode of the Low Pressure Podcast, Mark Warner sat down with Alex “Army” Armstrong for the second time.

Since her first appearance on the LPP four years ago, Armstrong has gone from living in her truck camper in Whistler Blackcomb's parking lot to becoming one of the hardest working pro skiers and renaissance women in the industry. She was nominated for Standout Female Skier of the Year at the 2021 iF3 Festival for her three-part web series, Skier Rich, created the Good Gear Auction (which has raised tens of thousands of dollars for Indigenous Women Outdoors and Colour The Trails), designed a ski for RMU Outdoors (the recently released Northshore 114 and soon to be released limited-edition Indigenous Women Outdoors version), was a central part of Blank Collective Films’ latest movie, Feel Real, and has contributed a number of incredible articles to us at Forecast. In this episode, she discusses all of the above and more, along with her ability to take motivation from several different and sometimes contradictory sources, and how she can turn both a positive outcome or a negative result into inspiration.
