Friday night was a big one for Quebec. First and foremost, its capital city played host to one of the most inventive urban contests in the game: Red Bull ReDirect. To sweeten the deal, the province's own JF Houle took the top spot. And then just shy of 700 kilometres away at Fenway Park in Boston, MA, Vincent Gagnier, Quebec's most recent heir to the big air throne, pushed a new framework for what's possible in the discipline—and he won the event for it.

Back at ReDirect, following JF Houle on the podium was Magnus Graner, representing Sweden, and Emile Bergeron, also of Quebec. Bergeron also took home some extra hardware after earning the "Best ReDirect" trick of the day.
