iF3 MOVIE AWARDS WINNERS
The 12th edition of the iF3 Festival took place in Montreal over the weekend, and concluded on Saturday night with the latest installment of the iF3 Movie Awards in front of an excited crowd of ski and snowboard enthusiasts at Bain Mathieu.
26 awards were bestowed to the year’s best ski and snowboard films in four categories: Amateur, Athlete, Open (for which both ski and snowboard films were jointly nominated) and Pro. Here’s a look at the winners, which were determined by the iF3 Jury, which consisted of Forecast’s very own Jeff Schmuck, professional skier Will Wesson, Newschoolers' Evan Heath and iF3 Founder Felix Rioux on the ski side of things, and Burton’s Zach Aller, industry legend Guillaume Morisset and filmmaker Ralph Samson on the snowboard side after viewing over 80 films.
