FREERIDE WORLD TOUR BAQUEIRA BERET PREVIEW

The 2023 Freeride World Tour (FWT) is finally kicking off, as athletes and FWT staff prepare to return to the Spanish Pyrenees for one of the hottest events of the season. The Baqueira Beret Pro will again play host, after last year’s amazing debut at this venue, with a weather window spanning from January 28th to February 2nd.

As the FWT title fight commences, the world’s best riders will return to impress the crowd with their skills. This year’s level is incredible, and athletes will need to push their limits to make it past the cut after the third event at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in Golden B.C. on February 17th - 22nd.

Who will have what it takes to threaten the returning world champions Jess Hotter, Maxime Chabloz and Thipanie Perrottin for a shot at the crown? Will the home crowd spur on Aymar Navarro, Abel Moga and Event Wildcard Elisabet Marina to take the win? Or will the rookies step up and prove their place? We can’t wait to find out.

Plenty of snow has fallen in the Pyrenees in the last few days, and the conditions look amazing. It would be hard to find a better way to start the 2023 FWT.

We hope to see you there but, if you can’t make it, don’t forget that the competition will be live streamed at freerideworldtour.com. Stay tuned to the FWT's social media channels (@freerideworldtour) to get the latest updates, and don’t miss out on any action.

The Freeride World Tour is finally here, folks!
