Forecast Issue 11.1 Preview

Now that summer is behind us, leaves are turning, and temperatures are dropping, it’s that special time of the year when we excitedly announce the first issue of our 11th volume, which will be arriving in ski shops and mailboxes across Canada this week.

On the cover for the third time in Forecast’s history is Tom Peiffer, making poetry in motion in Whistler, B.C with one of our senior photographers, Guy Fattal.

Quality Ski Time
This past February, we teamed up with Salomon for a two-week tour to Red Mountain Resort, Revelstoke Mountain Resort and Banff Sunshine Village to show off the brand’s newly revamped line of QST skis, and met up with a cast of local athletes, characters and retailers along the way.

In addition to the above, we also profile urban skiing maestro Mat Dufresne, Surefoot’s Sam McDonald and Panorama Mountain Resort’s Evan Pacey, offer a look at the gear repairing and unique product upcycling exploits of Rob Heule, provide you with the opportunity to win a pair of Armada’s new AR ONE ski boot along with a set of ARV 106 Ti skis and Strive 14 bindings, and a whole lot more.
