WHISTLER BLACKCOMB WINTER KICKOFF HOSTED BY THE NORTH FACE
For the fifth year in a row, The North Face is proud to partner with Whistler Blackcomb to celebrate the return of winter on December 10th and 11th. On the docket for this year's Winter Kickoff event is a movie night (complete with free pizza), the ultimate winter camping experience at the top of Whistler Mountain, challenge contests with The North Face athletes and non-profit organizations, and more! CAMPOUT CONTEST
Win The Ultimate Winter Camping Experience!
The North Face is offering a unique chance to be a part of a thrilling winter camping experience on top of Whistler Mountain. If you’re the lucky winner, you and a friend will be jumping on a flight to Vancouver, camping out at 2,100 metres, and claiming first tracks together. Not to mention that you’ll be getting to take home your very own winter camping gear courtesy of The North Face.
To participate, simply post a photo or video on Instagram showing us how you get outside and “Never Stop Exploring,” and use the hashtags #CAMPWKO21 and #CONTEST.
Note that this contest is open until 11:59:59 p.m. PST on November 30th, 2021, and only Canadian residents who are 19 years and older are eligible. Once the contest closes, the winner will be selected by a panel of judges based on the following criteria…
• A photo or video that demonstrates the “Never Stop Exploring” theme in a storytelling manner that’s inspirational, humorous, whimsical or otherwise creatively evocative (75%).
• The quality of the photo or video (25%).
Prizing Includes:
• Airfare for 2 to Whistler from anywhere in Canada
(Departure on December 10th / Return on December 13th)
• Ground transportation from Vancouver Airport - Whistler
• 2 nights hotel stay + 1 night of camping atop Whistler Mountain
• $500 pocket money
• 1 Mountain 25 Tent + 2 Inferno Sleeping Bags

Contests to begin on November 16th, 2021
Collaborating with The North Face athletes and non-profit organizations to celebrate the return of winter, you will be able to engage in a trio of Instagram contests for the chance to win a package that will make you want to explore and push your limits.
To participate, post a video or photo of you completing one of three challenges on The Blondes, Leanne Pelosi and Indigenous Women Outdoors’ Instagram accounts.
Note that these contests will begin on November 16th and end at 11:59:59 p.m. (PST) on Dec 11th, 2021, and one winner will be chosen per challenge.
Prizing Includes:
• 1 Inferno -40° C Sleeping Bag
• 2 single day lift tickers for Whistler Blackcomb (valid until April 30th, 2022)
