The Low Pressure Podcast is back for its ninth season, and in addition to launching an all-new YouTube channel to accompany the audio version of the podcast (click here to subscribe to it), is kicking things off with a bang via a sit-down with Blank Collective Films star Jordy Kidner.
Kidner was raised in Canmore, Alberta in the shadow of Ski Big 3, but began leapfrogging west when he was 16 via a stint in Revelstoke before settling in Squamish, where he just bought a home. And while he’s more than established himself in the backcountry scene, he admits that he’s still in awe of getting the opportunity to ski with his childhood heroes Eric “Hoji” Hjorleifson and Chris Rubens.
For the season nine premiere, Kidner sat down with Mark Warner to discuss this past season’s adventures while shooting for Blank’s new film, Tales From Cascadia, with the aforementioned legends, his funny first day of filming, what his does with his summers, and a whole lot more.
