"Of all the skis I tested, the Nordica Enforcer 94 was the top ticket to untethered speed and performance. The narrower waist allowed it to quickly transition from edge to edge, while the damp, stiff construction gave it a strong hold, like it was on rails. The feeling of generating and releasing the energy this ski harnesses evoked stupid grins and giggles as I un-weighted and transitioned into my next turn. These attributes also provided confidence when pinning it through ice, chop and “previously enjoyed pow,” where the snowcats have no business being. I found this ski tipped the scales in favour of being on piste (where, thanks to its torsional stiffness, solid platform and sidecut, it felt like driving an F1 race car), but by no means is it restricted to it. There's a lot of fun to be had on this ski, because you can open it up, with no need to hold back." —Gord Kerslake

Known locally as Gorgeous Gord, Mr. Kerslake has been voted the second handsomest man in Revelstoke three years running. A rugged lumberjack and hero for hire, he’s also a classic Ontario transplant—and a retired ski patroller and former freeski coach at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, though he’s called Revelstoke home for some number of years now. He spends the majority of his time looking for bottomless pow in the backcountry, but still loves banging hard on groomers at Revelstoke Mountain Resort. His go-to weapon of choice is a STIHL MS 880, but when it comes to in-bounds skiing he likes it stiff, with traditional camber, about 115 millimetres in the waist, 190 centimetres of length, and low, subtle tip rocker. For powder, he prefers a flat profile with full rocker.
