Test Notes
This ski absolutely rips! From the very first turn, I knew I was "free to send ’er." The all-new Rossignol Sender Free 110 is incredibly well-balanced, with a stable platform and predictable flex pattern that inspired confidence when I wanted to open up the throttle, yet was still easy to pivot quickly and dump speed after I dropped cliffs or when the trees got tight. I loved the intuitive feel of this ski. I made no adjustments whatsoever to my skiing style, and within seconds knew exactly how it would respond to whatever type of terrain or snow conditions lay ahead. If it’s not clear already, this ski really hit the mark for me, and I feel it would do the same for any freeride-oriented skier who’s looking to chase powder and make the most out of all the terrain and conditions they find along the way. —Jay Maloney
Pros
- Well-balanced, predictable and stable.
- Quick to pivot in tight situations.
- Excels in all types of terrain and snow conditions.
Cons
- Can be a bit hooky on groomers when initiating short turns.
- May be too much ski for anyone below a strong intermediate level.
