I don't like to say that a ski does the work for you, but the Nordica Unleashed 114 had me looking back at my tracks perplexed by how easy it felt. Spending time on this ski gave me the confidence to revisit my favourite classic lines and ski them smoother, cleaner and faster than I ever had before. Hard-charging, freeride-oriented skiers who love tackling steeps and sending cliffs could happily spend all season with this ski as a daily driver, and it would serve well as a back-pocket pow weapon for those who usually shy away from a larger waistband. For myself, the Unleashed is about to take a front-row seat in my personal quiver. —SEAN ENNIS
