The moment I snapped into the Head Kore 105, it was game on. Point this bad boy down some hard pack or a groomer, and it will take you from zero to one hundred in an instant, providing long, hard, fast and aggressive controlled turns with no chatter back. Finally got that long-awaited pow day? The Kore has you covered—in face shots. This ski will float over the snow and drop you in dreamland while cruising through the deep. Choppy chunder day? Check, as its stiffness will keep you blasting through everything in your path, although I found that managing tight trees did take a bit more effort. So for those who like to charge heavy and ski fast, consider the Kore a highly recommended option. I already can’t wait to get back on this ski and giddy up. —Jack Lesnik
