Test Notes
The Atomic Bent 110 was my favourite ski in the test. I skied it on post-storm cycle days and couldn’t keep a smile off my face, as the transition from floating on 20 centimetres of pow to chundering through skied-out chop was seamless. Following every side hit, drop and opportunity to get in the air, the Bent seemed to scream at me, “Is that it? Go bigger next time!” But what impressed me the most about this ski was its ability to manoeuvre through anything tight, which allowed a confident, full-steam-ahead approach to my days in a variety of conditions. I would also trust it unconditionally as a primary backcountry ski, given its light weight combined with how well it tackled the deep stuff. And don’t be afraid to size up, as the rockered tips and tails kept me floating, bouncing and cheesin’ from top-to-bottom in a 188-centimetre length. —Jack Lesnik
Pros
- Incredibly responsivee and maneuverable.
- Playful, poppy and loves to be in the air.
- Charges through powder and variable conditions.
Cons
- Skiers who prefer a more traditional freeride ski may not enjoy the tapered tips and tails.
