2024 SMITH PURSUIT SUNGLASSES | VIDEO PRODUCT REVIEW
In partnership with our friends at Smith Optics, Forecast Ski Magazine is pleased to offer a look at Smith’s Pursuit Sunglasses via this video product review.
Whether you’re ski touring, boot packing or in the midst of a full-speed descent, Smith’s new glacier-style Pursuit Sunglasses can do it all. With design influence from Smith athlete Cody Townsend, the oversized silhouette of the Pursuit blends goggle-like coverage with the airflow and easy-to-wear feel of a sunglass, that performs while you're climbing and descending across a variety of alpine and backcountry adventures. The Pursuit’s lightweight, Evolve bio-based frame is constructed with a pack-friendly, screwless hinge to create a fail-safe backcountry design, provides ample coverage through the cylindrical lens curve with a slight wraparound fit, and features magnetic TPU side shields, a removable nose guard, and adjustable QuickFit temple arms for customized adjustability that react to perspiration and moisture by gently adhering to the face for no-slip grip. The Pursuit is offered exclusively with interchangeable ChromaPop lens technology that enhances contrast and natural colour to make details pop, and is available in five lens tints—including Smith’s impressive ChromaPop Glacier Photochromic lens, which adapts to changing light conditions from category 1 to category 4—and comes with a secondary clear lens for low light, and a low-profile, lightweight case to ensure minimal storage in your pack.
