The Salomon QST Blank is just plain fun. For a powder ski, it feels super balanced, and handled pretty much anything and everything I threw at it. Whether I was blasting through steep terrain or just cruising some fresh snow, it kept things smooth and playful. It stayed lively and easy to maneuver all over the mountain, but didn’t get squirrelly when I was skiing fast and hard, which is just one of many reasons why it’s such an awesome ride. The Blank is the kind of ski that gives you confidence, without killing the vibe. If you want something that can charge, but will still allow you to mess around and have fun, this one’s a solid pick. —Matthew Carriere
