The Salomon QST Blank was my undisputed favourite ski in the entire test. The subtle topsheets and vibrant bases complement it perfectly, and while the ski itself seems so unassuming, it can do it all. This confidence-instilling pair of planks has a rocker-camber-rocker profile that held a mean carve when I was pushing my luck on steep groomers, all while remaining poppy in deep powder and tight trees, due in part to its powerful rebound and the playful float that you would come to expect from this type of ski. The cork damplifier helped minimize vibration while smashing moguls and sending resort jumps and side hits, which allowed the QST Blank to be there for me when I needed it most and truly serve as a daily driver. —Alex Berg
