I loved how versatile and agile the Salomon QST 106 was all over the mountain, particularly in the 181-centimentre length I tested it in, as I typically ski on a slightly shorter ski. It crushed the bumps, was strong and stable at speed on groomers, and great in powder. It was a super solid all-around ski for the wide variety of conditions that I had the opportunity to try it in, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone who likes to charge. Throw a touring binding on it and it would certainly excel in the backcountry as well. The QST 106 is a tried and true, well-rounded ski that can do it all… and the orange crush colour ain’t so bad either! —Andrea McCormick
