Do you ever listen to the beat of your heart at the top of a great ski line and hope that your skis will turn to its rhythm, without actually having to think about turning? Then look no further than the snappy and responsive Salomon QST 100. This ski has fresh camber underfoot that responded to my every move, so I could just focus on the terrain ahead. The sidecut allowed for easy turn initiation, and it held an edge at high speed, so I could trust opening it up on groomers, in the chop, or down a chute, which makes this brand-new addition to Salomon’s QST lineup an extremely versatile ski in all conditions. I usually ski a wider ski, but at 100-millimetres underfoot, this felt sturdy and shredable in the pow. Tender and tenacious, this is a one-quiver ski! —Rachael Roussin
