The Rossignol Rallybird Soul 102 will offer intermediate skiers a fun day of cruising the groomers and crushing the chop. It’s a strong, stable ski that cut through the crud and left me wanting more. I didn’t find it overly excelled in the steep, tight trees that we have an abundance of at Red Mountain Resort, but it was definitely up for anything on-piste, along with soft, mellow off-piste terrain. And its graphics really set the mood for a smooth ride, with the feeling of twilight in the forest. The Rallybird is a perfect ski for the moderate skier who’s looking to cleanse their soul by exploring runs all over the mountain. —Andrea McCormick
