The brand-new Nordica Unleashed 106 is the perfect blend of a freestyle ski with a race-infused background that serves as a great overall one-quiver ski. It felt planted in the steeps, jibbed and played in the woods, and was locked in at speed on groomers, which blew my expectations away. It has lots of pop, which gave it a good release on hard, steep turns, and enabled my confidence to explore anywhere in-bounds. It’s a very fun ski to ski, desires its user to ski in the front of their boots, and would help any intermediate or advanced skier excel and become more comfortable in challenging terrain. —Andrew Besenski
