The Nordica Santa Ana 102 is a snappy, sturdy and responsive all-mountain ski that any intermediate or advanced skier would enjoy. At 102 millimetres underfoot, it thrived in soft snow while providing plenty of stability when charging through chop, and allowed me to easily keep my weight over its sweet spot and bounce through the moguls and trees with cat-like reflexes. I ripped this ski down old, chalky pow on a steep, double-black diamond run at Red Mountain Resort that’s aptly named The Cliff, and it destroyed the variable snow, ice and bumps like a boss. It only took me three turns to realize just how much I loved this ski, and I already can't wait for more. —Rachael Roussin
