The K2 Mindbender 101 is a perfect choice for a working professional who only gets to ski a handful of times a year, doesn't have quads of steel, and is looking to cruise around the hill while exploring groomed or hard-packed terrain. It didn’t shine super brightly in really deep snow, but wasn’t terrible either, and had an impressive amount of responsiveness and landing abilities, which made it fun to get airborne on. It had great edge grip at mach speed on groomers, hunted for features to jib and jump off of, and it’s a very lightweight ski that’s easy on the legs, so it won’t tire you out. I would recommend this ski to anyone from a beginner or intermediate skier who wants to step back into skiing and/or bring their abilities to the next level, all the way up to an advanced or expert skier who enjoys a chill day on the slopes and is looking for something that practically skis itself around the mountain. —Andrew Besenski
