The Head Kore 112 Ti is a substantial freeride platform that’s ready for pretty much anything you throw at it. I rode the first generation Kore 111 a few years ago, which has been updated for this winter with more metal and more power overall. This ski definitely wants to charge, and is geared towards an aggressive skiing style, but with that being said, it has a playful sidecut that allowed it to pivot easily, and was comfortable skiing at slower speeds as well. Two layers of titanal put this ski on the heavier side of things, but it provided excellent vibration damping and comfort at high speed. The Kore is a very well-rounded ride, and perfect for the powder hound who’s looking to ski fast through all kinds of terrain. —Jay Maloney
