The Blizzard Sheeva 11 is the perfect example of a versatile ski. It performed well in both soft and hard pack conditions, and was able to handle all sorts of variable terrain. It certainly has a favourite type—soft snow and powder conditions—but gave a solid effort when put on the groomed. The tip and tail have a forgiving feel, which gave it an agile characteristic, but also allowed for a bit of tip flap in hairier situations. The specs and construction of this ski lent itself elegantly to tree runs, where it continued to prove its ability to be nimble and navigate any type of terrain and aggressive conditions thrown at it. So if you’re a beginner or intermediate skier looking to move into a more capable, aggressive set of planks, the Sheeva 11 is about to become your new favourite love child. —KATIE SPITTLEHOUSE
