What I liked most about the Faction Prodigy 3 was its combination of versatility and control. The adaptable profile of this ski allowed it to excel in a wide range of terrain and conditions, highlighted by its capabilities in softer snow and stability on groomers. Like a lot of Faction’s skis, it was poppy, playful, and able to ski anywhere on the mountain without struggle. And as more of a mellow-feeling ski, it didn’t require me to charge or ski at 100 per cent at all times, which allowed me to relax while I floated through the trees, with agility and ease (call me a poet!). In a nutshell, the Prodigy—which is available in two different topsheet graphics—will inspire rhythm, confidence and creativity on the slopes, and satisfy anyone from a beginner all the way up to an expert skier. —Katie Spittlehouse
