The Faction Dancer 89 TI is an absolute powerhouse of a ski built for high-speed charging. If you love driving a ski fast, you will love its rock-solid stability. It tracked beautifully and never chattered, giving me total confidence on hard-packed groomers, chalky snow and steep open bowls. However, this ski did not give away its performance for free. It features a robust camber profile that required significant power and technique to fully flex and lock the edges into the slope. Because it demands high input to unlock its maximum grip, it could feel punishing for lighter or less experienced skiers. —Matt Carriere
