The Atomic Bent Decode is a lively and capable ski that will turn the whole mountain into a terrain park for intermediate to expert male or female skiers. Designed for freestyle, this ski blurs the lines of what a park ski can do. While it certainly excelled in the park, with a poppy flex and light swing weight, I was most impressed with how it performed in an all-mountain environment. Its lightweight poplar core provided excellent stability and vibration control in rougher terrain and when landing airs. This, paired with the early rise tip and tail and relatively short turning radius, made for a very playful and maneuverable platform, both on and off-piste. —Jay Maloney
