Win Gear From Sean Pettit & Oakley!

In honour of Oakley Week kicking off today at Whistler Blackcomb, we're pleased to present our latest contest, with Sean Pettit and Oakley, that was featured in Issue 2.4, which is currently available on newsstands and in ski shops across Canada.

Now before you get your knitted sweater in a knot, yes, we know the photo below is a snowboard shot, right? Well technically, no, since it’s a no-boarding shot, and technically, it OK, because it’s Sean Pettit, one of the most go-big-or-go-home skiers in the game. In case you hadn't noticed via his social media channels, Pettit’s been on a pretty big boarding kick lately, and since skiers hating on snowboarders (and vice-versa) is sooo 1998, and both Forecast and Pettit are all about on-hill equality, we figured, why not?

In an effort to further bridge the divide between pole-planting and knuckle-dragging, we’ve partnered with Pettit and his longtime sponsor, Oakley (who’ve been keeping his eyes shaded and bones warm since the tender age of 11), to offer you the opportunity to score a pair of Line Miner Prizm Inferno goggles, featuring a USB-chargeable defroster with heated lens technology to combat fog, and a set of Wind Jacket 2.0s, which double as a hybrid sunglass/goggle for the wild child in all of us.

Here's what you'll win!

To enter for your chance to win (note that you must live in Canada to be eligible), Pettit wants you to channel your inner snowboarder by uploading a photo to Instagram of you throwing down snowboarding’s most classic grab, the method… on skis. Be sure to follow @forecastski, and tag @seanpettit_, @oakleyskiing and @forecastski in your post, along with the hashtag #SkiMethod. Pettit himself will then peruse the entries to pick a winner.

On behalf of Pettit and everyone at Oakley and Forecast, good luck, and stay tuned for the winner of the Tatum Monod + Rossignol Contest, which we'll be announcing in the coming days. In the meantime though, happy methoding!
