Burkard, who’s clocking in at over three million Instagram followers, and has been featured in too many publications to count, was in Whistler to compete at the Olympus Pro Photographer Showdown during the World Ski and Snowboard Festival, in which he won the People’s Choice Award.

In this episode, Burkard discusses how he got his start in photography, and through several great stories about hard work, mistakes and sacrifice, explains how those lessons taught him to succeed in business, art and life.
